Adventure Medical Kits S.O.L.
When I hunted in Saskatchewan last November, the one thing I made sure I had in my pack was a survival kit, with compass, matches, survival blanket, signaling mirror and more. The unit I brought cost $100. Now you can get it all for $25 from Adventure Medical Kits with the S.O.L. (Survive Outdoor Longer), a kit that includes everything you would need to survive a night (or more) in the woods.

I don’t like junk and like to see advances and better deals in what we currently use for example.
The MicroFix 406 Personal Locator Beacon looks great but I checked it out and what I can see it doesn’t have the features of "SPOT". With “SPOT”, you can be tracked by those at home, has a “OK” button to let them know your ok, help button for preset message you made and the “911” button.
The “SOL” survival pak, I’ve noticed it has matches that are prone to deterioration and is a limited use item. It should be replaced with a small tube of Vaseline and a magnesium stick. A 2x2 cotton patch saturated with Vaseline and you have 6 to 10 minutes of flame. Other items need to be replaced and added.
