Great photo, but something doesn't seem right. Both of the birds appear to be Merriam's, and the birds outside of Sioux Falls, SD should be Eastern's. It isn't until you get out near the Missouri River in SD that you normally see Merriam's.
gotta love when everybody gets on birds!
2 big ole pretty Merriams, and they are Merriams. No self respecting turkey hunter is gonna tell you where they killed 'em, but I bet it was somewhere in So. Dakota-LOL!!!
