Big Bull Dorado
Rough Seas, rain squall, and 15 miles offshore.... This approx. 50 lb Dorado was the only fish that day on a trolling purple and white skirted lure in the spread. This took 1 hour plus to land on 50lb gear.
I went with a great friend and will remember this one for a long time.
Species:
Other Saltwater Offshore
Method:
Artificial Lures

Forgot to mention this was in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Nice fish. I remember mine from about 10 years ago and it never fades. On the way back into port, we were trolling for a last fish (already a 12 fish day) and I ended up landing a 45 pound dorado. so you've got me beat, but I must say these fish are probably the most beautiful fish in the ocean.

Sorry not sure what happened here...
Something weird Hillbilly. Anyway great fish and I bet Cabo San Lucas was beautiful.
Thanks....yes these fish are gorgeous for about 15 minutes and then turn a grey. Yes we did keep this one. I will remember this for a long time partly because of the fish but mostly because of those who got to share the memory with me. Only wish my son was old enough to go out there..... But, thats for another time.
I've caught quite a few, but nothing like that!
Nice Pictures!!!
