Way to go. An nice first deer indeed. I was lucky enough to get a nice buck my first outing as well. It definitely makes your standards greater now though that you got a big one.

Nice job. I still remember my first big one. It was a typical 4X4 Nebraska mule deer. one shot from a Remington 30-06.

I shot this buck with a 270 ruger.One shot dropped him. Its a mule deer typical 5x5 He was shot in the last best place MONTANA!
