Me after shooting my first green wing teal
It was Christmas eve and my brother and I where hunting at our spot at the lake and it had snowed four to five inch's that night. So at four a clock in the morning we had a little fun getting down the boat ramp got on to the lake and had a good day of hunting. This is a bird I had never shot be for and was happy to get to shot it on Christmas eve with my brother Cody with me.
Species:
Ducks
Where: Oregon
Method:
Shotgun
When: December 23, 2008
I'm surprised that a teal is still in that area with all that cold of weather
That's a trophy bird im my book. Get it mounted up north its sometimes hard to get a nice full plumage drake
nice photo
Nice Pictures!!!
Josh, that's a nice bull G.W. I have a mount with a bull standing over his hen in a snow scene. She's huddled down while he looks out and over her. The G.W's plumage is beautiful as your bird can get. All the best to you.
Well done! Those are FAST! great shooting, and hopefully many ,any more outings on the water to get some more, Lord willing!!
hunting with family is what it's all about for me.
