5lb bass
Not only is it my third bass ever, its 5lbs+! I caught it at this unknown under-fished pond that's so small only a handful of locals think to fish there. Supposedly there's a 9lb+ in there to. Its chock full of bass. In the summer on a bad day you'll catch 3 or more 1lb+. On a good day you'll get 5 or 6 bass.
Species:
Largemouth

Artificial Lures

Nice bass. Awesome lure i catch all kinds of bass with those.
Congrats on the great catch, Keep it up
nice fish, keep finding places like that.
nice bass, not quite 5 pounds, but a nice one
sometimes it those little, out of the way places that give up the fish...
Seriously 5 pounds? Not a chance. Also 5-6 bass a day is definitely not a good day. That's pathetic. Please get a real scale and stop posting these false weights because you're way off kid.
I hate to say it that is no five pound bass. I see at the most 14-15 inch bass, I just caught a bass(5-30-09) that was 21 1/4 inch that weighed just over 5 lbs. You have to realize alot the users on here have been fishing longer than you have been alive kid.
I would have to agree with BlackDiamond 5-6 bass a day is not a good day, infact I would have to say it was a terrible terrible day fishing. A good day bass fishing is 30-50 bass kid!!
Ok Guys, be nice. So the kid exagerated a bit. That's what fishing is! I hope for his sake the 5-6 fish a day is not exagerated! Nice fish kid. Keep at it!
I'm not trying to get this kid hopes down. You have to be realize if a kid is over estimating now, no one will belevive him when he actually catches a monster fish when he gets older.. That bass might and that is a big might, be 2 pounds adding 3 pounds is over exagerating is like saying a 12 inch spread buck to a 20 inch spread buck. There is a little difference.
hey nice .5 pound bass jagon
Nice fish kid, sure it alteast felt like 5 pounds on light tackle. Good job landing it, some people make many mistakes and loose fish. you did just about everything besides your estimate of the weight right. use this site for a decent weight calculator. http://www.lunkerlink.com/calcuweight.html
a 22" long 15" girth bass would weigh approx 6 lbs.
I like that lure you're usin' I catch tons on those.Maybe not quite 5 lbs,but keep at it,I'm sure you'll get 8+ lb bass if ya keep at it!Good job,the fish looks about 4 to 4 and a half pounds, which is still a nice bass!
