Feral Hog--Large Boar
This Boar was taken at only about 40 yards just before dark out of a box stand with a Tikka T3 in .338 Federal. The Hog stopped in an opening just long enough to put crosshairs on his huge head and squeeze a Barnes 160 grain Tipped TSX handload off. Estimated weight over 200#.

i dont know how it is in texas but in both florida(where i am from) and tennessee(where i live) it is year round hunting and no limit on boar and feral hogs on private property and on some public. Blus boar makes some real good meals!
yup its the same in texas. hey steven i just moved from Texas up to TN any ideas on where i could look to start hunting up here
