i don't think i'd eat one but to each his own. I guy here at work caught and ate one, said it tasted like bass. I took his word for it.

Its a solid sheapshead. not massive for them though. I would guess he was joking about it being a perch. He had to be, he wouldn't even have found F&S withoht knowing that wasn't a perch.

Could be a Nile Perch if the guy's in Africa, but I think they look a little different. Also they can be over 100 pounds so I don't think that would be that big of a Nile.
