We had just finish a short portage in Quatico, and we decided to take a break and fish because our friend said that we were on top of a great fishing spot because of a natural dam. I was using a spoon and hooked the pike. I did well for the first time in a canoe with a fish on. Unfortunately we still had a long portage and it was too big.
