A friend and I took a trip to Zapata Texas for a javelina hunt and I was able to take this nice boar on the first day of the hunt.

Nice Job Texas.
Nice Stink Pig, I want to get down south and bag one of those one of these days.
Okay, Ive never heard of a Javelina... and it looks freakin ugly, IMHO. Looks like an anklebiter version of the big Siberian boar that got off a game farm here in Alberta. The only nice thing about THAT is that now, any gun owner with permission in Alberta can go killin hogs. Any time of year, anywhere any farmer consents... Oh boy, break out the applesauce!
Not saying its not a great trophy, I just don't know what to compare it too... and it looks like a cross between a big rat and a really big boar XD
