Happy Birthday to me! My 27 1/2 lb common carp caught on my birthday off the damn at castaic lake. Equipment was a lightweight shakespeer rod with 6lb test with a ball off corn masa as the bait. Took me about 30 min to reel this one in. One of the greatest fishing experiences ever.
