I got a trail camera picture of a real nice axis buck on my 56 acre family ranch in Cotulla, TX early december so have been hunting hard for him. Jan. 17 I got this spike axis buck that had busted his antlers almost to the bases. It sure is true about what everyone told me. . . The meat is excellent.
