After shooting my bull on opening morning I had some time on my hands for the rest of the week. On one outing with a friend and we came across a set of mountain lion prints in the soft mud (picture) a couple miles from camp. Later that week, after unsuccessfully tracking a friend's cow we stopped for a break and watched a lion walk down the tree-line before disappearing into the thick timber.
