7LB SPECKLED TROUT, 26 3/4" LONG
The night I caught this fish I didn't feel like fishing at all and went only to make my husband happy. Little did I know that I'd hook the biggest trout I've ever seen... I barely got it to the boat - the hook was literally about to fall out. This trout was almost 27" long and was the highligt of my night. My husband still hasn't caught one to beat me. Guess I'm just a better fisherwoman...haha

It's definitely bigger than my best trout. Not that that's saying a lot. Most of my fishing is done in the flats and gator trout have always eluded me.
