Working on flyrods, thinking about elk
My wife says this is one of those moments when she's sure I'm a total redneck...I recently dug out my cardboard-box rod-building unit in order to build my daughter her first fly rod.
While waiting for the glue to setI decided I needed a handle on guide-buffing file...and a pick. So I glued both tools into spent 30-06 shells.
It makes a great tool handles, don't you think?
