It was one of those days when the news people were telling you to stay indoors if you want to live, so naturally I went out in search of a photo. I found one at Spring Lake outside of Macomb, IL in this little patch of open water. The air temperature with wind chill was somewhere around fifteen of twenty below. My eyelid and eyelashes froze to my camera. If you ask me, it was well worth it.
