I was fishing on the Hudson River for Herring to use for Stripped bass. I was using the standard Herring rig. I landed this carp on 10lb test thinking it was a stripper. It ran my line out until it was about 200yrds out; I fought this fish for about 30 mins before I get it to the boat. That was the best fight of my life for such a smaller fish compared to the strippers I have caught.
