Winter Panfish
I spent a cold and breezy afternoon with my father on about eight feet of water. We had never done much ice fishing, but waxworms and patience produced a mix of bluegill, pumpkinseed and perch. A buddy of mine likes to fillet and skin everything he catches, but I just scaled and fried these to a golden brown, with a little old bay seasoning.
