While Turkey hunting, I was using my slate call and had my back against a tree near a small pond, as I was sitting there, something in my head said "Get up NOW"! As I did, I turned around and this 7 foot gator was 2 inches behind me! He scared me as I scared him and he rushed back into his pond. He must have thought I was an injured turkey and thought I was a easy meal.
