Bought a Gerber caping knife, but not happy with feel of grip or pink stains on stag scales. Decided to try a refit, using a piece of ipe wood. Timelapse on project from start to finish. Made the scales a bit thinner than originals. To my eye, it's a more graceful look. I think the stag looks great on a larger knife (ballpoint for scale).
