My first deer
I got my first deer opening weekend of deer season 2009. It was a spike blacktail buck taken at 168 yards with my 6.8 Remington spc contender carbine. I am 11 years old and in the 6th grade and this is my first deer season. My Dad and I carried the buck out of a clearcut and up a steep slop to our mountain bikes, where we then rode to the truck.
