Deer Keds / deer louse flys
These are the flys I found on my deer, they look like big lice and move very quickly through the deers hair when disturbed. I've never ran across these before.

Yep, I've been running into the critters for the last couple of years. After reading about their life cycle, I think they could be a good indicator of where deer bed down. Just another clue when scouting.
