My Buck 2009
My family has hunted the same 30 acre patch of swamp for 40 years, this is the biggest buck any of us has ever gotten. It was 7:20 Am on opening morning and he followed two does and and a yearling buck. One shot from my stoeger 2000 dropped him at 50 yards. He had a 16 inch inside spread weighed 185 lbs, the dnr aged him at 3 1/2 years and I rough scored him at 134.

Thats a great buck! its about the same size and dimensions of my 2009 buck. good buck!
nice buck. what shot/choke setup were you using?
Nice buck! near fond du lac huh? couple monster bucks taken out of the area seems to be one of the few place where earn a buck has had a positive effect.. in respect to the fact that it was a buck hot spot this year from what i can tell.
As for shot and choke it was federal tru-balls and an improved cylinder choke and i was aiming with nothing more than the bead. I killed a doe with this combo at 80 yards earlier during the doe only hunt, also one shot. And yes we hunt very close to Fon du Lac county. We are technicaly in Sheboygan county but we are less than 2 miles from the border. We hunt in unit 69 which has never been earn a buck but just about all the units around 69 were at one point EAB.
