If you want to see and shoot more yotes than hunt a fresh cut hay field. When hay is cut so are mice, rats, birds, snakes, and some rabbits. I have seen more yotes cutting hay and in fresh cut hayfields than any other place. I hunt on the down wind side of the field at night. Do the same and there will be yotes, sure as shooting.
For a cheap deer scent/lure dispenser I go to Wal-mart or any other store that develops film and ask them for the empty film canisters(I've never been charged for them). I then take them home and get an ice pick or anything pointed and heat the end with a lighter or small propane torch and it will go right thru the canister. Poke several holes all around the canister and one in the bottom and one in the top. Take about a foot of trot line and tie the ends and slip it thru the top. get a wad of cotton balls and poke em in the canister and then your ready to pour in your favorite scent/lure.
From a square to a whole roll, here are some uses for toilet paper in the field. You can be out for a week, or some for a day fishing trip, here are some ways it can come in handy.
1. Making quick bandages - with other cloth as a tie
2. For tinder for fires
3. A little comfort in the woods goes a long way when you have to squat
4. Can be used to add insulation (its made of cotton)
5. Little pieces can be used for wind strength test
6. Stands out against a dark background/ signaling/ grab attention of people passing by
7. Stuffed in ears for earplugs during shooting
Pick up a spool of "super-line" fishing line and use it to sew any tears or rips in your hunting gear or clothing.
