Cutthroat Crossroads
The Wyoming Range is the focal point of one of the true angling challenges ¿¿¿ the Wyoming Cutt-Slam, but it's also the "cutthroat crossroads" because it has drawn together a sweeping coalition of sportsmen's organizations who are drawing a line in the sage against gas drilling operations on public land that potentially threaten hunting and fishing resources.

Trout Unlimited has taken the lead on educating the public on how finding "win-win" solutions to limit gas drilling, and one of the last bastions for wild cutthroat trout should be a priority concern. See tu.org or wyomingrangesportsmen for more details.
