Last year, wildlife photographer Denver Bryan traveled to Brazil with a group of fishing buddies to fish for peacocks on an upper tributary of the Amazon River, base-camping from a mothership parked deep in the jungle. His week of fishing was a spectacular one. Everyone on the trip landed well more than 100 peacocks, many of the brightly-colored fish in the 15-20 pound range. And these hard-fighting gamefish were only the half of it; they all caught several other unique species of fish. Click through the slides at left for for a photo journal documenting the trip.
