How to get to Hawk's Cay You can fly almost directly to Hawk's Cay by catching a small-plane flight from Miami to Marathon airport, which is just minutes from the resort. Or you can rent a car in Miami and drive to the resort, like I did (which is also the economical choice). The 100-mile trip from Miami International takes a bit over two hours, depending on traffic. The drive itself is entertaining, as you'll skirt the eastern end of the Everglades (you'll see "Crocodile Crossing" signs, and they're no joke) on U.S. 1 before you enter the island chain at Key Largo.-Mike Toth Use these websites to plan your Keys fishing trip:
