Thank god. People need to learn obout the outdoors more.
Hey great idea.
I think that hand warmers are a great item for a hunter. There is really nothing to hate about them, except they are a little hard to get open with cold hands, but the are air activated and do a damb good job of keeping your hands warm. I used Hot Hands. I only used them once just to try them out. I usually just buy myself a good warm pair of gloves. The only thing I'd change about them is the way they open up.
I have discovered a great way for keeping your scent form being detected by animals. When you are at camp and if you are hunting in a lot of sagebrush, cut a piece off and rub it all over your clothes and gloves. They will now smell like sagebrush and you won't be detected as easily. You can also do this if you are hunting in pine forests.
I'll have to try that. It wounds like it will work. Another thing to do is not track it for at least an hour.
When hunting deer elk do you wear ear or eye protection. I know you shoould when you are siting in a blind when you hunt birds.
Which do you think is more important Ear or Eye protection. I know you will pick both but I just want one choice. I am going to go with ear protection.
Of you have rust on your barrel, no need to panic. Just grab a rag spray some WD-40 on it and rub it vigorously. It will come of making your barrel look a whole lot better.
