If your a small framed female or a child than use a 20 gauge otherwise the 12 gauge is the wise choice. I myself am using a 12 gauge semi automatic. Good luck whitetailkif!

I would search on the internet for the DNR laws or pick up a pamphlet. I also remember hearing that if you live in Illinois and you own more than 40 acres of land, you are able to hunt without picking up a tag.

It would be smart to put stoppers on the back of your broadheads for turkey hunting.

If you can't chose between the two, you could always get one with an interchangeable barrel. The .177 would be good for long shots and the .22 for close range shots.

I defentally wouldn't. Besides the fact that its illegal, if the deer isn't on your property then its just not right to do that.

What I like to do is to have a repatition. Each time when I draw my bow I touch the bottom of my ear with my finger. The follow through is also very important. Once you release, keep the bow and your hand in the same exact spot until the arrow hits the target.

Q:when you go deer hunting how many bullets do you take?do you fill up the gun or take the whole box?

I always bring a full box in my bag and I fill up my gun with 4 to 6 rounds.
If you want to use those chokes, you will have to switch to lead shells.
