I don't know if it is the best but I got a Browning 12 gage Cynergy last fathers day and absolutely love it. Its a beautiful, reliable gun that gets the job done. I use it for upland birds, dove, and some sporting clay for fun.

I love Gerber Gear and the LMF II is a solid infantry style knife. Made for military men and survivalist and can handle just about any job.
Easier to get the family fishing on the boat or on the bank the trying to get them in the woods. Im a famiy guy so I say fishing.

The Remington 870 shotgun and 7600 pump rifle are a lot alike, I suppose if you like the 870 you can get along just fine with the 7600. Call me old fashion but I think a bolt action rifle as opposed to the pump action. is a more suitable hunting rifle. A good ol 30-06 should do you fine at home and out west. If you are going to drop 800 plus on it then make sure you get something you "love" and don't just settle for a right handed gun.

Right now I am going with the F-250 diesel and I can tow a mountain cross country with that thing, plus great leg room. First truck my dad gave me was his 92' Z71 and I don't have the heart to let it go. Both great trucks.

Boxes and bags work just fine. I use both. I find it best to make sure that you keep the colors separate and dry so the colors don't bleed on each other.
Lab's probably the best all around hunting dog, family dog and property dog but I my favorite are Beagles. Grew up rabbit hunting with them as a kid and reading Snoopy comics. Been sold on them ever since.

Catching Releasing: Bass Catching Eating: Crappie
Thatta kid rrmont. Can't go wrong with the Sunflower State.
Parking ticket. To launch from a boat ramp had to use a "self pay station" and forgot to bring small bills. No place with in miles to make change plus it was bout 530am. Wasn't going to let it ruin my fishing trip and launched anyway. Came back and found a ticket on my windshield. Would have been mad but I had a limit of slab crappie that day. well worth it.

I wouldn't do the whole bird, just the fan, beard and spurs. Less maintnance and less space, less expensive. But if you get a beast of a long beard it may be worth it to show up a lil late to work just so you can get him to the taxidermist quickly. Like others have mentioned keep the blood of is key which is easy to say after you just blasted him with a 3 1/2. You may want to lay the bird on something to sock up the blood during the truck ride in as well

I got lost mushroom hunting with a friend one time when I was 14 on some new property. Got caught look at the ground so much for Murrells didn't pay attention to the surrounding terrain. Wasn't in any really danger, heard some traffic near by and made it to a road although I want to say I noticed the moss growing on a tree and tasted the dirt.

I think an owl hoot would be useful for locating Tom's on the early morning roost. A butt seat or soft pad helps keep you comfy when setting up on a tree. Later in the spring season be mindful of ticks.
If you are going to hunt with it check out its parents. Did either hunt? Where either trained? Body type? Energy level? Medical problems? They are usually a god indicator of what kind of dog your getting. If its going to be a family dog then just go off the "cuteness factor"

Perry Lake, KS fishing off of 92 bridge with my father in late January when I was about 12. Crappie was stacked up so thick we couldn't keep our poles in the water. No kidding had both our limits (at the time it was 50 a person 10in fish) in less then 4 hrs. Won't mention how long it took to clean all them slabs. Went right back the next day with my uncle mickey and it was just a hot.
