    My Dad and I went out coyote hunting we called and called but we never saw anything. But on the other hand we heard a lot of crunching and 1 pile of BEAR scat!!!

    I have a question... will you be shooting off hand? Well you are not alone on the weak wrists!! I have weak wrists. My Dad ( I am 12 years old) bought me a bipod. I attaches to the sling studs. and it makes shooting a LOT easier!

    My Dad got me into this site and I LOVE IT!!! I go onto the site almost EVERY day. In the October 2009 deer season I got my first deer with my Dad at my side and with the help of my trusty 6.8 spc contender it dropped right in its tracks!

    I would get a 270 or 30-06. The 30-06 would be the best because you can down load or up load.

  • grouse hunting

    Ya... We flushed 1 then we kept walking up the logging rode then we flushed 2 MORE! oh my gosh then on the way back we flushed 2 more. But... grouse season was NOT open! If it was we would have been packing and gutting the rest of the day!!!

    I am 11 and a girl. i think that a 30-06 or a 6.8 SPC. Both would be good because they don't kick much but they have the power to thump a deer or bears.
