  • Friendly religious questions for Christians and other monotheists

I think Jeff also raised a valid point that mans interpretation severely affects our Religion. My father was raised catholic, my mother presbyterian, she had to be baptized for them to get married. Pagan_Hunter To your questions of "how do you know there is god, if so what do you chose, how do you know this" It's really simple and it's called faith. How they get up every morning and have faith in god, is no different than how they get up everymorning and have faith in themselves and the world. How do i know I'm not going to get hit by a car? struck by lightning? Mugged? You don't. But you have faith. You have to accept that there are things that we will never, and can never fully understand, or know. These could be the last words I ever type, I don't know that they wont, correct? I personally have no religious belief, but I am sick of Religions tearing each other apart. Especially Pagans or Athiests condemning others beliefs and claiming that they are enlightened and the masses are like sheep. Not to say Christians/muslims/jewish etc don't, its just that highschool was recent, and teeming with wannabe communists and athiests.
  • Friendly religious questions for Christians and other monotheists

I will try and express my views on religion, and people choices of religion in a way that has some relevance to this website. For the most part, Religions are often quite similar. The Qur'an holds some of the same story as the Bible, and unless I'm mistaken, the Torah is the original old testament. Contrary to what many muslims, and god fearing christians believe, or understand for that matter, Allah is the same God as your christian God almighty. Think of it like this. We are all hunters, and for the most part we all follow the same or similar codes of ethics etc. Why does it matter which gun we use to hunt with? Just because I prefer my .270 to your .30-06 doesn't make me any better or worse than you. It is simply the tool I choose that suits my hunting life best. Obviously in religion, as in hunting there are exceptions. Extremists at either end that will tarnish the reputation of us normal well grounded folk. And the truth of the matter is, it's faith. Christians are just as right and wrong as atheists, cause to my knowledge, no one can actually prove, or disprove the existence of god.

No, but I do not doubt his greatness.
  • Blinds? Turkeys? Huh?

I've never done a run and gun, but this was exciting! called him in within 15 minutes, and sat in the hotseat for another 45 with him 35-40 yards away before i could finally get a shot through the trees at 38 yards. It was my first turkey, and my dads first time hunting, so it was awesome, definitely something I would recommend for pairs or first timers. Im mounting the Fan and Beard, along with the feet.

  • Rifle hunting turkeys

I dunno, it seems like it would make things alot easier, and i would imagine take some of the challenge/fun out of it.
  • lead lead LEAD!

i would imagine that acid rain, exhaust fumes, littering etc. have more damaging effects on our environment/water than lead pellets.
