I fish the Clinton River area, my best luck is always with a spawn sack with 3-5 eggs, but as for lures, twitching a floating rapala or using the berkley trout dough type stuff is always productive too.

Q:does putting electrical tape over the muzzle of a gun affect the ballistics or accuracy?
from tony167n on 08.21.09
27 Answers
I HAVE THE ANSWER. It was done in an issue of outdoor life. The result was startling, in the high end varmint rifle they were using, not only did the tape not effect the accuracy, it actually improved it (by a little). They found that the tape was pushed off by the pressure in front of the bullet before the bullet came out and that it created slightly more pressure behind the bullet as well- so do it, you have nothing to lose.
Q:What should i use to scent my lures if i dont want to buy the scents they have at the store.

scents on reaction strike lures is proven as one of the least factors. As for suspending baits- and this may sound weird- since i sprayed down the hooks in some WD-40 i've definitely noticed an increase. Use WD-40 on the line too. spray the line in the spool and it will last longer, cast further, and it will always stay limp and decrease memory

it is best to get one or more of each type of call: slate, glass, metal, diaphragm, and others like Tom Gatskins turkey call. Each have pros and cons. but as for the best, i prefer a Knight and Hale Glass Hammer.

NO!!! in a .22 rifle barrel, the shape of the chamber is made to accomidate the longer case, as you know the case is slightly larger than the diameter of the bullets. so, when you put in the short, when the gun fires not only will the firing pin probably not reach the round, but also the bullet will hit the sides of the chamber, ruining all rifling and probably the gun, also it may be dangerous. gas is no totally funneled out the barrel, some might come back at your face.

its not time, its weather. when the sun is hot, crappie will get shallow to warm up ASAP. I was catching them yesterday from shore in 4 ft of water. As long as the sun is heating up whatever is dark in color, most fish, especially crappy, move towards shallow water.

think about it, if your call is a wounded small game animal like mine is, do you think injured small game really does any moving? its a very stationary call, also, small game distress calls are very rare, so portraying that there are more than one wounded will sometimes spook the smarter ones.

i've heard that aerodynamics can be blamed, i remember hearing somewhere that flies with straight eyes in line with the hook don't land properly on the water... dont mark me minus if you think its bull, dont shoot the messenger
it does very much, but not as much in the spring. in the spring fishing is much more dependent on the sun, when its out, fish hoard close to shore to get warm fast. However in late-mid summer, fish are too hot, and get into the deeper colder water. On nights when there is a full moon, the fish can feed in the cooler night water and not overheat. Crappie and walleye have adapted large eyes to feed on nights with moon light.

from the looks of your pic you live in a place that has a winter, and right now its cold, so you definitely wont catch anything on a swimbait.
