I own a lot of knifes but i like the gerbers. I have one from the military on a spring with a Japanese cut style instead of the drop point style. It's great for gutting fish and game. I keep all of my knifes sharp. I also use a sheepshead cut knife for skinning contrary to a skinning knife. My skinning usually consists of pulling off the hide with my hands so i use the extremely sharp point on it to ease only tough places. I also have a Ka-bar fighting knife which is great for heavy duty stuff.

pellet gun. definitly. I like .22s tho. a lot better. but a pellet gun is like f-18 versus a biplane.

use worms the old fashioned worms and sliding sinker with a split-shot to keep it from sliding up to the hook. Power bait is also good just with a split-shot tho.

bring tons of ammon and shoot quick they dont hold a direction for long. use medium or open choke. dont bother with dogs they r easy to flush themselves.

This is an amazing setup i use it for cats, perch in the surf, and even bass sometimes. This will get finicky trout too. great setup. Great for finicky fish of any kind. Prob my #1 bait rig. I use a splitshot instead of a swivel tho.

Ive never used a mouse lure but ive used a frog which is pretty much the same thing. Caught some huge bass on that sucker flippin it over like a 6in thich bed of algae in a pond. Its fun to watch them explode all over em' too. I've also heard of guys using live mice in canada just on a hook for trout. It has to be a full moon though at late night like midnight. They just hook em' and let them swim from the boat to shore and they catch MONSTERS! Like 16lb brown trout and stuff. Give it a try.

Spoons, spinners. Flashy stuff. Buy live mice like the kind you feed to snakes and at midnight on a full moon (if there is one when you go) hook them with just a hook and no weight and let them swim to shore from the boat. Guys in B.C. Canada do this for HUGE 16-18lb Trout. Also fish the areas where creeks empty into the lake. Fish those areas hard with some lightly splitshot weighted powerbait.

Hell no purchase the 500 Mossberg off him. Sure its a good gun and all but a 25-06 is a wildcat cartridge and a damn good one. keep the rifle for your kids or for use elsewhere.

Small Small hooks. and powerbait. That's how i do it. and the ones i hook are only 5in long sometimes. contrary to the above DONT SET THE HOOK even when you see them swallow it. Wait for them to fully eat it. If they are fighting well by all means bring them in they are already hooked but if not. Wait. Then reel.

Rugers always Rugers. Ask for a Ruger .22 pistol and they will give you all sorts of arrangements.

Warmer water makes them come closer to the shore. (at least in what ive experienced) and makes them lazier. Colder water makes them run for the depths.

Wait so yes to rabbit? get a .22 they will take care of coyote too. and crow, squirrel, and a huge variety. Ruger 10/22 is the best in my opinion. Its a semi-auto. If ur a good shot it takes care of a lot more species. The ammos cheap too

I personally dont know. But ive heard the Remington 870 is a good one. Use slugs or tight chokes that will get you the closest action to a rifle. By the way what state do you live in that rifles are illegal?

I haven't but i know people that have. The like the Dead Coyote. It works well for them. they also carry rifles for long range shots though. Dead coyote is a good load!

You need to get a press. You can find them at local shooting supplies and just ask the clerks and they will line u up with power shot wad primer and all.

Ruger 10/22 i'm guessing. depends on how confident u are. I won several competitions and shoot mine every day so i would take one a 100- 150 yards if i got a clear shot and could see that target well. Hit them in the neck it hits the spinal column and kills instantly.

I don't ice fish but i know about ice thickness. If it's dark or black don't get near it. If it's light colored it's good. I always carry a stick to poke around with.

No camo. 20 6 or 5 1/2 shot is good. Be watchful. they like to move in circles and back behind you. if you see movement check it out. Binoculars are a must.
