you should get a pole that is not to big for you to hold on to or it also does not need to be to small where it is hard to use it correctly. for me i like my Zebco rod and reel combo.

for christmas this year i got a Marlin 22 (self loader) and i love it it is a semi- automatic and is very reliable. so far i have not had any problems with it and it is easy to use all you do is just pull the rod out and load the bulletts in. i would recomend it to anyone.

FROM MY EXPERIENCES NOW I KEEP A BAR OF IVORY SOAP IN MY TACKLE BOX. I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT IF YOU WILL FISH A OFF SET HOOK WITH A NORMAL BULLET WEIGHT YOU WILL CATCH. WHEN YOU THROW IT OUT THERE LET IT HIT THE BOTTOM AND THEN JUST KEEP REELING IT IN. AND KEEP ON REPEATING THIS EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.

i got my 20 guage in elementary school and could shoot it no problem.

cast into the shade during the spring and summer when it is hot the bass will be under piers or either hanging over limbs. during the summer when we go fishing even in ponds we will always get more bites by the pier.
