benelli pump the best pump i own great all wether gun easy to take down and put back together and the recoil reducer option is excellent for big loads like turkey loads, buck shot or slug for deer.I personally have put over 25000 rounds through mine everything from 9 shot dove rounds to 000 buck. as for larger game than whitetail i would go with a rifle 243 or greater more stopping power and penetration for large game with thicker skin. GOOD LUCK OUT THERE

It depends on your choke anything much tighter than a modified cylinder you will starts to have promblems there are some steel shot alternatives but you would have to check the hardness scale for the metals used to determine the right one. good luck out there

17 lets ya reach out there further than a 22 or a 22 mag and due to its pointed bullit spape and velocity has better ballistics across the board but the amo is more exspensive so if your shootn in that 0 to 75 yd range take the 22 if it is more take a 17 hmr or a 204

I tought survial classes for the B.S.A. so as far as which one is better well les has the food and shelter down but another big part of survivial is keeping ur spirits up and making progress towards geting rescued bear is the man so if you wat to surive go with the knoledge of les and the spirit of bear. P.S. dont climb up a water fall actually avoid climbing in general without the right saftey eqipment you may fall and it takes just one broken limb to kill you just go around and use the easiest path to aoid injury.
