I totally agree with you Nycflyangler on the advancement of IED's, the things they are coming up with is simply stunning. I just went off on a wild tangent because you originally posted that IED's were self defense, and I feel like you said before that war is to kill with out being killed. Basically it is evolution on the battlefield, we create something better then they counter that with something more advanced. As we have seen from Vietnam to present that guerrilla warfare is here to stay. The book "The Other Side of the Mountain" goes into the tatics of the Mujahideen against the soviets, again there was evolution in the battlefield.
