I keep Thor (that's my black 870 pump) loaded with 00 buck. I'd rather have the power to drop someone Right Now in such a situation. I figure if it ever comes to that, the s**t must have hit the fan so we not go big

I'm a .40 guy. To me, it just makes sense that you get more power than the nine, but still good velocity and good capacity.

Most Annoying TV Deer Guy
I have a love/hate relationship with hunting shows. Love to watch them even though I hate a lot of cheesy hosts. The one I hate the most is Larry Weishun. What a joke this geezer is. It's like somebody gave a camera to my deranged uncle. Anybody else get creeped out by this guy or is it just me? The best tv guy by far is Michael Waddell. Dude rocks.
Bass Through the Ice
Anybody have good luck catching largemouths through the ice. I fish this lake in the summer that has tons of big bass. Through the ice, I can only manage to catch perch. Any tips?
