I have been having alot of luck with trick worms and lizards on a shaky head jig.
I think oddly enough that breem are very good, second I would say trout, followed by catfish.

I think that is a good color for dark water. I like to think as a rule of thumb dark bait dark water and lighter bait clearer water. Also the bigger the lure the bigger the fish
I like to use a blue and silver or black and silver Bill Lewis Rat'L Trap. Always very productive. Once I begin to get a few hits I will move to some soft plastic rigged on a shaky head.
Q:Anybody have any recommendations on baitcasting rods and reels, and spincasting rods and reels?

This time of year as the temperature begins to go up and the summer pool is reached try main lake points and ledges during the heat of the day. In the morning and late afternoon try flats and shallows. However try to stay in 8-12 feet of water.
Maybe he should just regulate what PETA can and can't protest. He could also stimulate the organization and maybe they will finally begin to fail.
