I recently got a cva optima, and have been pretty happy with it. its my first muzzleloader and it has held up pretty well considering I may not have cleaned as well as I should have after the first round of shooting.
I've seen a lot of mixed feelings on this. I've killed a lot of deer over the years and they have all been with 2 calibers. .30-.30 and .30-06. I agree the .30/.30 is a brush gun but with the new hornady ammo it can reach out a little further now. Love them both just have to know when to use them.
I really don't see how this is possible. The only way his politics are helping the economy is by boosting gun and ammo sales. The rest just sucks. Are there really that many people who can't see what is going on?
I find this hard to believe, I was in the Kearney Ne store and watched a woman return 2 coats that were well worn and obviously several years old. Granted she didn't get a full price back for them but she still got money back. I agree they are a little high on their prices but I've found their return policy pretty good in other instances also.
I've worn a few pairs of wrestiling shoes isn't a little uncomfortable not having any arch support and walking a lot?
I usually use winchesters too, I prefer 4s but they seem to be hard to find now. I have also been using estate pheasant loads and have been impressed with them too. I also reload and am working on refining my pheasant loads. With ammo prices right now it saves a lot but its also getting hard to find supplies.
Nate I've tried that before and it doesn't always work, but it does help.
Jeff I definately like idea #3. I also wish that questions that are posted multiple times would be deleted and the points from those would be removed from the people.
I've used a lot of different calls and would have to say the MAD series is the best. But I can't say that they are that much different from HS Strut or Knight and Hales.
What kind of reloader do you have?
