  • Can a land owner force you out of a public stream?

Okay, thanks a lot! I am pretty sure I'm allowed on the property now.
  • Fishing Contest Pins

I sent in my pictures about a month ago, and have not yet received the pins that were supposed to be awarded to me. Now I'm wondering if any one else has had this problem or if it's just me? I am bummed that I haven't received them!
  • Can a land owner force you out of a public stream?

The other day, I was fishing in Mill Creek, a small creek that is located near Port Huron, Michigan, and was approached by the owner of the land that I was fishing near. He was upset and wanted me to leave the property immediately. Now I want to know if he has the right to force me off of the land or not? I had bridge access to the area, was not past the high tide markings, and did not have to travel through his property to get to the fishing area. I would really like to know, for the next time I come across him, if I can fish there.
  • Pole Regulations in Michigan

I don't know about you, but I am extremely upset with the DNR changing regulations to three fishing poles, as opposed to two per person. Where i fish, you are lucky to get a spot, especially when there are fish around. Now that there are three poles for everyone, you have no chance to get in. I am truly upset with this rule change, and want to know what you think. Three poles too many, or is two not enough?
  • Man made global warming? No way!

Honestly, I have found Global Warming to be a load of crap. There has been no proof positive evidence that there is something to be truly worried about. I heard that a scientist said that all ice in the poles would be gone in the year 2060, that very same year, we had the coldest winter in 30+ years. I also heard that the ice we had lost in the last 20 years had amazingly returned. How is that going to fit into the whole plan of ice gone by the year 2060, now what 2080 or 2090? I am very interested in weather and climates, and have found that all this Global Warming is actually the Earth recovering from a mini iceage that dropped Earth's average temperature. Even better, there have been periods millions of years ago, long before cars and road ways, when the Earth had no ice on it, and Alligators lived in Ellesmere Island, at 78 degrees north. Hmmm.... maybe this Global Warming thing is really just a bunch of bologna!
  • Repair your plastic fishing baits in no time

You can also use that to create dozens of new colors and designs with your favorite soft plastics. Just heat two lures and "stick" them together. Caught plenty of fish on home-made colors.
  • Retrieve Your Snagged Jigs

Another option is to take the rod, reel down all slack, and make short quick jerks with the rod above your head. Do this while heading in the direction the lure you snagged is at, until you pass to the opposite side, then start working your way back. Has worked very well for me.
  • Easy crayfish catching

You can also take a 2 liter pop bottle, cut it apart about a third of the way away from the top, and flip the top so the mouth of the bottle is in the bottom of the bottle. Place some form of stinky bait in the bottom of it, and let it sit in your creek. The crayfish can crawl in, but can not get out.
  • what is your favorite color of rubber worm and what style

Pumpkin seed YUM! houdini worm. works in just about any situation. I prefer to fishit on a shakey head jig.
  • WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POLE

Fenwick HMG 7.5' medium light rod, with the abu garcia cardinal spinning reel. It makes any fish feel huge!
