it may not be your camo getting you busted, you can wear a blaze orange pumpkin suit and the deer wouldnt see you. it may be unneccesary movement that the deer see. deer see movement better than any thing. you got to be as still as possible and move in slow motion. and maybe try and beat their noses too.

i was squirrel hunting and these two fox squirrels were fighting eachother. they were chasing eachother up and down trees. the they got to a tall oak and one took the high ground. he didnt let the other climb any higher. the one on top hit the other one back every time it tried to go higher. then the one on bottom got bold and ran up as fast as he could. the other squirrel just smacked him as hard as he could and his adversary plummeted all the way to the ground. he sat in the leaves for a second like he was seein stars. then he woke up and ran back up. then they both left. i was thinkin the whole time which one i should shoot, but i decided to let em both go so i could watch the action. thats one of many things ive seen happen in the woods.

the animal is completly free and not fenced in. your means of pursuing that animal are legal. and you dont use elecronic devices like spotlights, laser dots, x ray or night vision, or any of that sort. its got to be all natural and fair.
start skinning fron the squirrels back and just use your fingers to peel the skin off. use your knife to cut the paws, head, and tail off. cut up the belly and ribs and split the pelvis. then remove the inards. then wash it off, put it in salt water, and set it in the fridge. when all the bloods out put the squirrel in a ziplock bag until your ready to eat. I boil all the meat until it starts to fall off the bone. then i pull the arms, legs, and ribs apart and smother all of it in bbq sauce. throw it on the grill until you got nice, crispy squirrel bits.

tell her that hunting is critical to the survival of the natural world. there is nothing wrong with it and it benefits the wildlife more than anything. i do it but i make sure i am aiming in a direction where i know less buildings are. or you could just wait to shoot until the squirrels go on the ground for food, thats alot safer. you could even sit in a treestand to reduce the upwards angle of your shots.
