Swan Attacks Bill Dance

The Calm Before the Storm: Everyone’s favorite University-of-Tennessee-hat-wearing bass angler, Bill Dance, tries to enjoy some leisurely fishing from a lakeshore.

Then the You-Know-What Hits the Fan:
A pesky black swan just refuses to let Dance fish. The bird repeatedly nip him with its beak, forcing Dance to, well, dance.

The Check-Your-Underpants Factor: If you watched this with your eyes closed and just listened to Dance shriek, you might just think he’s being attacked by a terradactyl. But it is, after all, just a swan. This clip gets a 1.

You can see why people in Europe use geese and swans as guard dogs.

I don't know about swans, but my family has three geese and during mating season they become very protective and bite anyone who comes close. At about head level, which for them is about the same level as my crotch. All I can say is that they have very strong Jaws and pointy beaks.

I have had the very same thing happen to me, but it was a Canadian goose instead of a swan. It can happen quick when you are not expecting it.
