The Susquehanna is the longest river on the East Coast and features some of the best smallmouth fishing in the country. In this episode of Field & Stream Hook Shots, Joe Cermele and Field & Stream Editor Anthony Licata spend a hot summer day chasing these fish in the boulder-strewn section of river below Holtwood Dam near Lancaster, Pennsylvania with guide Eric Kerber of On A Mission Fishing Adventures.

I live near the Susky and I love fishing it for smallies and walleyes.

Great video! Smallies are the best. Looks like they were hitting everything, Senkos, jerkbaits, grubs...makes for a great day of fishing. Can't wait for the next video!!!

I know there are bigger smallies in the Susky too, but I also know how finicky the big fish are in there. This looked like a great day.
