#1: Bone-Crushing Blow
Marlin might be a dream fish to many anglers, but they're not always such a dream to subdue. They're unpredicatble, fast, and fierce, often injuring boats and anglers during the pursuit. Here are seven videos that prove just how nasty marlin can be when they're on the line a ticked off.
In this first video, a big, bad black marlin comes full-speed into the cockpit, nailing the young angler in the fighting chair with its bill. He suffered some broken bones in is face, but overall came away okay.

The "lifesaving implant" was the best. I can't believe how lucky some of those guys are! I just never thought about how dangerous a Marlin could be.

Wow, talk about fishing being a contact sport.
I'm pretty sure in Video #1 the sword went into the kinds mouth and pierced the back of his throat, cause I think I've seen this video before. These videos are nuts. Wow!
just goes to show how unlucky fishing can be even at it's brightest moments.

my husband has always wanted to go marlin fishing. After watching these videos, I believe I will have to say thats a NO!!! I don't think I have ever told him he can't go fishing but I'd be worried sick about him. I also thought we should go but I know I never will now.
Amazing how things can go wrong in a split second.
I really dont know anything about marlin fishing or really any saltwater fishing but i personally dont think these marlins were targeting the fisherman but then again i really dont know how aggressive these fish are.
I remember seeing this on TV the kid got stuck through the mouth, hes lucky he is still alive.
They are a very dangerous fish and fear nothing at all! I saw one beached along with his "Sword" embedded in a Shark!
I saw this on animal planet.
I never realized how dangerous a marlin could be!
