The round-bodied SS and SST baitcasters unfortunately arrived too late for us to test. (We’ll get you in-use reports on this series as soon as we can.) The two families in this series have unique stainless-steel housings and spools (as opposed to the usual die-cast aluminum or high-end machined-aluminum construction). The SS family has a polished stainless-steel finish, three ball bearings, a 5.3:1 ratio, titanium-coated spool and levelwind. The SST series features titanium coating on the housing as well and has six ball bearings. The two models in each family hold 120 yards of 12-pound-test or 120 yards of 14-pound-test mono.
