A trained wildlife biologist, Charlie holds degrees in wildlife management, public policy, and natural resource conflict resolution from Michigan State University and the University of Montana. Outside of the office, you can find him hiking the mountains of Western Montana and re-learning how to hunt and fish in the Northern Rockies.


Charlie advocates for durable conservation policy and occasionally covers these issues in print or on the web.

Charlie Booher holds an MS in Wildlife Biology, a Master of Public Administration, and a graduate certificate in Natural Resource Conflict Resolution from the University of Montana, as well as a BS in Fisheries & Wildlife Conservation and a BA in Public Policy from Michigan State. Charlie is an Associate Wildlife Biologist and a very proud Spartan.

Favorite Outdoor Hobbies

Charlie loves to hunt, fish, hike, and paddle. As a lifelong Midwesterner, he has recently challenged himself to re-learning how to hunt and fish in the Northern Rockies of Montana. He can most often be found taking his dog or his gun for a walk, though never at the same time.
