With the help of an underwater robot fitted with multiple high-definition cameras, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution was recently filmed what it looks like to be struck by a great white shark. Shark experts are calling the footage “one of the most spectacular videos ever taken of the phenomenon.”

The first major shark strike happens around 1:27. What’s funny is with all the camera angles, the shark is still able to seemingly appear from nowhere.
