The boys over at Gink & Gasoline somehow convinced Bruce Chard, a Florida Keys guide, to show them how he ties his signature fly for “shallow water, tailing permit, in thick grass.”

It’s a crab called the Chard Choker. While it’s most likely a fly that very few of us will ever use, let alone hook a permit on, I thought I’d add a saltwater pattern to the Tie Talk list.
