Thank you for your many great captions. It’s always gratifying when you make yourself look like a fool, and your readers still treat you with kid gloves.

Nonetheless, this time the pick was easy.

I’m going with smccardell, who used the Mary Poppins reference: “Winds in the east, mist coming in. / Like somethin’ is brewin’ and bout to begin. / Can’t put me finger on what lies in store, / But I fear what’s to happen all happened before…”

And the reason why is obvious: When I go steelhead fishing, I usually arrive from an easterly direction, and upon landing, make miraculous, magical things happen for several days. Sometimes I change the attitudes of cranky old banker types, tell them to go fly a kite, and then I leave.

Oh, and we all know I’m “practically perfect in every way.”
